Short Title: Not Helpful in Interpretation

Short Title provides the citation

It is true that it is provided that the Act may be cited by the short title of the Trade Disputes Act, 1906. But the governing title is that which introduces the statute as an Act to provide for the regulation of trade unions and trade disputes[1].

It is established that short title is not used as an aid to interpretation if better sources are available.
